Bangkok, Thailand (1st part)

I traveled to Thailand and Cambodia with a friend during the first week of April. We spent the first few days in Bangkok, a fascinating city that blends history and modernity.

The Grand Palace is one of the main sights of the city. This is a complex of buildings that serves as the official residence of the King of Siam. Since the death of the King in October last year, people keep coming to this place to pay their respects.

Very close to the Grand Palace, you will find Wat Pho. This temple houses an impressive 46 m long reclining Buddha. There is also a collection of Buddha images from different times and regions of Thailand.
